Nestled in Hertfordshire's picturesque grounds, St Michael's Manor Hotel provides a captivating backdrop for your dream wedding. This Grade I listed manor house offers elegant spaces, from grand ballrooms to intimate suites. Exchange vows in the stunning Oak Panelled Room, or celebrate in the Garden Room with natural light and garden views. Set in five acres of privately owned grounds and described as “probably the most romantic wedding venue in and around Hertfordshire”, this beautiful 16th century former manor house offers the facilities of a reception, lounge, bar, patio, restaurant-orangery and private rooms. All are beautifully decorated and, along with the magnificent gardens, make the ideal location for a civil ceremony and the following celebrations. The centre-piece of the garden is the one acre lake; down and around which the lawn sweeps, and along its banks sits the summerhouse and jetty – the perfect setting for photographs.

There are four licensed locations, one of which is lake-side, and caters for receptions of to 140 guests, (180 evening), with a wide variety of menu choices. Exclusive hotel hire allows private use, including the 30 individually styled bedrooms.

London is 25 miles or 20 minutes by train, near the M25, M1 and A1M, the hotel has ample parking within its own grounds and feels like a country retreat. Guests can benefit from the hotel being in the most historical and picturesque area of this Roman city and enjoy sightseeing on longer stays.
