This is a breathtaking rustic wedding venue offering exclusive use and exceptional space for unforgettable celebrations. Set in a beautiful countryside location, this stunning barn wedding venue provides everything needed for a seamless ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception, all in one place.
Licensed for weddings, the impressive Ceremony Hall accommodates up to 200 seated guests, while the charming Dining Room (The Piggery) hosts wedding breakfasts for up to 180 guests. For evening celebrations, the venue comfortably welcomes 400+ guests, making it ideal for both intimate and large-scale weddings.
Couples enjoy full, private access to the venue, including beautifully restored barns, atmospheric courtyards, and elegant preparation suites. Yes, we have a full civil wedding license for our two inside and two outside areas. Surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones, our stunning Grade II listed brick barn provides a truly romantic and timeless space in which to celebrate your civil ceremony, partnership, blessing or renewal of vows amongst those you love.
Exchange your vows amidst the whispering grasses of our wildflower meadow. A beautiful rural landscape under Lincolnshire skies, this unique space provides the perfect setting for a more intimate open-air exchange of vows.
You will need to discuss this with the drinks supplier that you select from our supplier list. They are fantastic and they will help you any way they can!
For the catering and bar, we require you to select a supplier from the excellent companies we have shortlisted. We believe that great food and drink are at the heart of every memorable event and here at Thetford farm Barn we are dedicated to sourcing the very best that the local area has to offer.
11a.m the day prior to your wedding date, however we are flexible depending on your requirements.
We have a license for a party to last until midnight. The music and bar can be enjoyed until this time.
Yes, no outside music is permitted.
Sadly we do not have a licence for these items/activities.
In the interest of maintaining a more ecologically friendly environment, we only allow real dried flowers confetti. This links with the farm and it’s ethos towards sustainability. To facilitate this, we have selected a lovely supplier that grows and dries their own flowers in Shropshire and ask that if possible all your confetti is purchased directly from them. If you have your own supplier of dried flower confetti, then we are of course happy for you to bring your own.
Yes, candles are allowed, however we do not allow sparkler candles.

Not yet, we are thrilled to be able to offer a beautiful house in the local village of Baston that sleeps 10 people. From September 2025 we will also have four luxury double rooms and a Honeymoon suite, just a few yards away from The Barn.

Our Sustainability Commitments
As part of several countryside stewardship schemes we are increasing the cover of Nectar flower mix. Providing areas of rich plants to boost biodiversity and essential food sources for beneficial pollinators such as bumble bees, solitary bees, butterflies and hoverflies.
