Banqueting House occupies a striking historic hall in central London where couples can mark their civil ceremony and reception with both scale and atmosphere. The Main Hall stretches beneath Sir Peter Paul Rubens’ painted ceiling, with towering pillars and glittering chandeliers that draw attention upward.

As a licensed space for civil ceremonies, it can hold up to 400 guests or be arranged for dinner and dancing for up to 300, creating a formal yet expansive backdrop for a celebration. Below the main space, the Undercroft offers a vaulted, more enclosed environment. Also licensed for civil ceremonies, it accommodates up to 150 guests and supports reception gatherings of up to 350. Its character and scale present a contrast to the Main Hall while remaining part of the same venue experience — suitable for drinks, evening entertainment or for combining with dinner and dancing upstairs. Both principal spaces are approached through central London, with arrangements made through the venue’s events team. Couples can work with approved suppliers for catering, florals, music and technical production throughout the day.
