Set within Liverpool’s city centre skyline for more than 40 years, Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower brings together elevated city views and flexible hotel wedding spaces designed to support celebrations of different sizes and styles. A private balcony overlooking the River Mersey and the Royal Liver Building gives couples and guests direct access to one of the city’s most recognisable waterfront outlooks, creating a natural focal point across the day.
Civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions can all take place onsite, allowing the celebration to move smoothly between each part of the day. Licensed ceremony space is available for up to 120 guests, followed by wedding breakfasts for 150 and evening receptions welcoming up to 180 guests.
Several function rooms are available, including the National Suite on the ground floor, which includes its own private bar and outdoor space and holds up to 180 guests. Weddings here include practical elements already in place such as a dedicated wedding planner, dancefloor, entertainment licence, and facilities for live bands and DJs.
The hotel setting allows couples to plan their ceremony and reception within one venue while remaining close to Liverpool’s waterfront landmarks. With experienced coordination from the events team and adaptable event spaces, celebrations can be shaped around both smaller gatherings and larger receptions within a central city location.

We have two wedding function rooms here at Mercure Liverpool, and as such, we would take two weddings if the opportunity arose.
We are licensed for civil ceremonies and conduct them in our beautiful, Kilmore, National and Vista Suites.
Unfortunately, we are not licensed to conduct a ceremony outdoors.
