The Wood Norton in Worcestershire presents weddings around a historic country house hotel with formal gardens, several licensed ceremony spaces and on-site accommodation. Couples can choose from indoor and outdoor settings for civil ceremonies, including the spacious Orangery with capacity for up to 120 guests, a lawn pavilion also licensed for up to 120, and the Fleur de Lys wood-panelled dining room suited to more intimate gatherings.
Civil partnerships and outdoor weddings are possible within the gardens and terrace areas. On the day, the venue’s dedicated Wedding Team works with couples from the first enquiry and showround through planning and execution, including catering provided in-house. The venue offers a complete service covering food, bar, furniture and linens without the need for external caterers, and guests can make use of ample on-site parking and accommodation in the hotel’s individually designed bedrooms.
Evening receptions can follow the ceremony in the Orangery or other licensed spaces, supported by the team and facilities on hand. The combination of multiple ceremony options, on-site overnight stays and full event provision creates a continuous flow from ceremony through to evening celebrations.

Fireworks are allowed at The Wood Norton, however these would need to be booked via our local recommended supplier as they have direct contact with neighbouring farms to let them know when fireworks will be going off.
We do allow confetti here at The Wood Norton
We only allow candles in The Orangery. Unfortunately we do not allow real candles in the Main Hall as we are a wood-panelled building and lit candles would cause a fire risk.
The Princess Louise Suite is our Wedding Suite and is offered to the Wedding Couple on the night of thier Wedding
At The Wood Norton, we offer a discounted rate on Wedding Accommodation for up to 30 Bedrooms for the night of your Wedding.
