About Mercure Haydock Hotel
Beautiful hotel wedding venue, ideally located close to St Helens & Merseyside. Mercure Haydock Hotel is an elegant Georgian style mansion house set in beautiful gardens, the perfect setting to create cherished memories. Licensed for civil celebrations we have a two function rooms that can hold up to 200 guests.
From the minute you walk through the doors you and your guests will be impressed with our stunning décor and elegant surroundings.
Externally we have the appearance of a Georgian-style building set within beautifully landscaped gardens. Internally we offer a modern, yet contemporary luxury.
The Hotel is designed around a courtyard, perfect setting for any romantic occasion.
The Mercure Haydock Hotel has three wedding suites to choose from, all of which are flexible and can be set out to suit your exact requirements. The Grand Marquee, set within the courtyard, is our largest option and can accommodate up to 240 guests. The silk-draped marquee comes complete with its own private bar & sparing chandeliers.
The Racecourse Suite offers a unique ambiance with sophisticated lighting, permanent dance floor and private bar. The suite can hold up to 140 guests for a lively celebration. The Beechers Restaurant is also the perfect setting for smaller, more intimate occasions.

We have two wedding function rooms her at Mercure Haydock Hotel, and as such, we would take two weddings if the opportunity arose.
We are licensed for civil ceremonies and conduct them in our beautiful, tiffany domed Beechers Restaurant
Unfortunately, we are not licensed to conduct a ceremony outdoors

We would allow external caterers for multi cultural weddings
Subject to availability, we would allow access the evening prior to your event for venue dressers, however, we here at the hotel would set and dress your function room for you, once you have provided us with your items (favours, name cards, etc.)
The Marquee last orders are 11.30pm with event to end at midnight The Racecourse Suite last orders are 12.30 and event to end at 1.00am
Live entertainment must cease at 10.30pm in the Marquee Live entertainment must cease at midnight on the Racecourse Suite DJ's can play up to midnight in the Marquee and 1.00am in the Racecourse Suite
Yes they are (subject to you supplying them via a reputable company who must provide PLI certificates.) Please bear in mind that, by law, no fireworks are allowed after 11.00pm with the exception of New Years Eve, Bonfire Night and Chinese New Year
Yes it is - we would appreciate it if you had bio degradable confetti and that it was thrown outside in the garden areas of the hotel.
No they are not allowed. You would need to provide battery operated candles for both suites and also for Beechers Ceremony room.
Yes - there is a complimentary Wedding Suite offered to all Wedding couples, inclusive of breakfast, for the night of your wedding.
Yes, we have 135 bedrooms and can offer a standard room, a privilege room, a junior suite and a king suite.
