About Mercure Haydock Hotel
Set within landscaped gardens and arranged around a central courtyard, Mercure Haydock combines the character of a Georgian mansion-style hotel with flexible indoor and marquee event spaces designed for celebrations of different sizes throughout the year.
Ceremonies take place in Beechers Restaurant, recognised for its Tiffany glass-domed roof, floor-to-ceiling windows and soft ambient lighting, creating a naturally light setting for exchanging vows. Larger wedding celebrations move easily into the Racecourse Suite, which seats up to 150 guests, while the Grand Marquee within the courtyard provides additional capacity for bigger gatherings, holding up to 280 guests for receptions.
Planning support runs throughout the process, with a dedicated wedding team available from the initial consultation through to the wedding day itself. Licensed entertainment options allow live bands and DJs, alongside a permanent dancefloor and space for evening celebrations.
The hotel setting also allows couples and guests to stay on site and make use of leisure facilities before or after the wedding, helping extend the celebration beyond a single day. The combination of ceremony, dining and reception spaces within one location enables weddings to progress smoothly from arrival through to evening festivities, with layouts adapted to suit both intimate occasions and larger events.

Yes it is - we would appreciate it if you had bio degradable confetti and that it was thrown outside in the garden areas of the hotel.
No they are not allowed. You would need to provide battery operated candles for both suites and also for Beechers Ceremony room.
