Set within 100 acres of private Norfolk countryside, Godwick Hall brings together a historic hall, restored barn and on-site accommodation in one secluded setting. The estate sits beside the ruins of St Mary’s Church and the remains of the deserted medieval village of Godwick, creating a backdrop that feels both rural and historically rooted.

At the centre of celebrations is Godwick’s 450-year-old barn. Licensed for civil ceremonies, it seats up to 150 guests for the vows and up to 200 for the wedding breakfast, with space for up to 350 in the evening. Exposed beams and high ceilings define the space, with large doors opening onto the courtyard and gardens. Couples can also choose to marry in the ruins of St Mary’s Church or at other outdoor locations across the estate, subject to legal requirements.

The Georgian Hall offers accommodation for up to 30 guests across 15 bedrooms, 13 of which are en suite. A mix of super king, king and twin rooms allows families and friends to stay together on site. A bridal suite is included, and guests have access to reception rooms, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen for the duration of their stay. Weddings at Godwick Hall are held on an exclusive-use basis, giving couples and their guests sole access to the hall, barn and grounds for the celebration.
