About Little Green Wedding Barn
Little Green Wedding Barn sits on the Norfolk–Suffolk border at Marsh Farm in Thrandeston, offering a blend of historic structure and contemporary spaces for weddings and celebrations. The heart of the venue is a Grade II-listed 17th-century Suffolk barn with oak beams and a Queen Post roof.
It connects to a fully air-conditioned modern glazed extension that houses a licensed bar, dance floor and stage, with three distinct internal areas flowing into each other to support both ceremony and reception. Couples can choose to marry in the former Granary, an intimate space full of character, or on the lawn under an oak tree, a paved arbour, or beside roses, with the venue licensed for open-air ceremonies for up to 150 guests. Inside, ceremonies can seat 88 and the layout accommodates a traditional sit-down meal for 150 and evening guests up to 200.
Exclusive use of the venue begins at 10 am the day before the wedding and extends to 10 am the day after, with tables, chairs, crockery and glassware provided as part of hire. Catering for the wedding breakfast is available through the venue’s in-house team, with flexibility for couples to bring their own evening caterers. The venue’s layout and grounds allow couples to spread activity across indoor and outdoor areas, and the surrounding lawns offer space for games or relaxed mingling.
