Danby Castle Barn is a uniquely rustic wedding venue licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Our comprehensive packages include lots for you, leaving you with less to think about when you book!
From the moment your guests arrive at Danby Castle Barn, they’ll feel the historic charm of this beautiful venue. The Court Room is a beautiful spot for saying “I do,” with space for up to 90 guests. For a larger indoor ceremony, our romantic Barn can accommodate up to 180 guests. Prefer an outdoor ceremony? The Lawn, framed by breathtaking views of the Yorkshire Moors, offers an incredible setting to exchange vows in the sunshine with up to 110 guests before capturing stunning wedding photos in the grounds. Or for a unique and intimate outdoor ceremony, The Ruins can hold up to 50 guests for a truly memorable exchange that will be remembered by all forever.
After the ceremony, your guests can unwind with drinks at the bar or soak up the sunshine in our grounds! The venue is so naturally beautiful, it practically decorates itself, meaning your wedding photos will be effortlessly stunning.
For your reception, our brand-new Daleview Barn (opening in Spring 2025) features beautiful wooden floors and a stunning arched window that overlooks the moors, creating a bright and airy space for the perfect celebration.

We have an amazing in-house catering team providing top quality food for the day of your wedding. Due to this, we do not allow external caterers for your wedding breakfast however we do allow you to have food trucks on the premises on the evening of your special day.
You have access to The Getting Ready Room from 8am and access to decorate rooms from 9am on the day of your wedding!
