About Weddings at Eavestone Lake with Yorkshire Yurts
Set within woodland overlooking Eavestone Lake near Ripon, Yurtshire’s Eavestone Lake weddings centre around outdoor ceremony locations shaped by the surrounding landscape. Couples can choose between lakeside woodland clearings or a hillside setting with wide views across the water, allowing the natural setting to frame the ceremony itself.
Wedding celebrations continue within a pop-up yurt venue designed for exclusive use. A 42ft event yurt forms the main reception space, connected to a 22ft yurt used as a bar and lounge area, creating separate yet linked areas for dining, socialising and evening celebrations. The space includes dining furniture, staging and a dance floor, with flexibility for couples to arrange their own catering, entertainment and styling.
Guest numbers can range from smaller gatherings through to larger celebrations, with seating for up to 120 guests and capacity for up to 150 evening guests. Smaller celebrations can take place in The Nest, a woodland space with private outdoor decking overlooking a pond, suitable for up to 32 guests.
Weddings include exclusive access to the venue from the day before the celebration through to the following day, allowing time for set-up and clearing down. On-site accommodation is provided in eight woodland Tree-Yurts, each sleeping up to four guests and equipped with an en-suite bathroom, kitchenette, private decking area, BBQ and hot tub. Guests staying on site also have access to a glass-fronted woodland sauna and optional spa treatments within the Spa Treatment Yurt. The setting combines outdoor ceremony locations, flexible reception spaces and overnight accommodation within one private lakeside site.

Yes, absolutely. Our packages include exclusive access to the site, which provides you and your guests with onsite, ensuite accommodation in our fully furnished Tree Yurts, each with their own hot tub and access to our Kirami sauna and cold plunge pool, spa treatments (upon request).

Yes absolutely, we have some stunning outdoor areas which are perfect for saying your vows. You can chose from our woodland area, our Lovers seat or by our stunning Eavestone Lake. Photos do not do it justice. We'd love to invite you for a tour so you can see for yourself.
