About Hallington Mill
Set in the heart of the beautiful countryside just outside of Corbridge, Northumberland, Hallington Mill is a rustic estate ideal for exclusive wedding celebrations. Nestled in a rural setting surrounded by acres of private woodland, you and your guests can revel in the property’s raw natural beauty. From babbling streams to serene meadows, this unique destination is full of character, history and charm.
The proud owners, Elizabeth and Rob, fell in love with the estate in 2016, renovating and repurposing it for events. You will find the venue situated close to Matfen, Corbridge and Hexham, making it easily accessible for locals and out-of-town visitors alike.
Facilities and Capacity
At the heart of the estate, the C16th Mill has been lovingly restored and now blends luxury, design and historic features with a relaxing atmosphere. The Mill and Barn both have options for large wedding suites with dressing tables and couches. There is plenty of space to prepare for the big day with your wedding party. Also, enjoy access to an expansive country farmhouse kitchen and a cinema room. Sleeping up to 19 guests. The dining room inside the Mill seats 20 and is perfect for intimate weddings, pre-wedding dinners and post-wedding breakfasts. Outside, the sprawling grounds provide an idyllic setting for a bespoke event. This natural canvas encourages you to create your own wedding experience. The woodland offers a tranquil backdrop for a ceremony or a drinks reception if you choose a church service; the options are endless. With no minimum food and drink spend you have the freedom and transparency to enjoy planning your day.

Our Sustainability Commitments
Hallington Mills goal is to be carbon neutral and they are actively working towards this goal. They are heated with air source heat pumps, use all washable plates, cups and crockery to cut down on waste. At Hallington Mill they can provide you with a list of all local eco friendly suppliers from Magic Hat the zero waste caterers to flowers grown just a few miles away. To offset any emissions they have planted 8,500 trees which you can see growing all over their land. The 27 acres Hallington Mill is set across has mainly been left to go wild to encourage bio diversity and offer habitats for wildlife.
