Located on the A420 between Oxford and Swindon, the venue offers a convenient countryside setting for couples looking for an intimate and flexible alternative to a larger traditional wedding venue.
Ayana Suite can accommodate wedding celebrations of up to 100 guests, with layouts that can be adapted for the wedding breakfast, speeches, evening entertainment and dancing.
Food and drink form an important part of the Ayana Suite experience. In-house catering and bar service are available, with menus tailored around the style and size of each celebration. Outside catering can also be considered by prior agreement, giving couples greater flexibility for cultural, traditional and specialist catering requirements.
The venue is particularly well suited to multicultural and South Asian wedding receptions and pre-wedding celebrations, while remaining a contemporary and welcoming setting for weddings of every style.
Couples can also take advantage of the boutique hotel at The Snooty Mehmaan. There are 11 bedrooms on site, comprising nine Executive Rooms and two Suites, allowing the wedding couple, family members and selected guests to stay at the venue.
On-site parking is available and the location provides convenient access from Oxford, Swindon, Wantage, Abingdon, Witney and the surrounding Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Cotswolds areas.
Ayana Suite is available for private hire and can accommodate DJs, live entertainment and dancing. The venue works with each couple to create a celebration that suits their guest numbers, catering requirements and individual plans.

Terms and conditions
Offer applies to new Ayana Suite wedding reception bookings only. The wedding reception must take place between 2 January and 31 December 2027 and is subject to date availability. The booking must be confirmed and the required non-refundable deposit received by 31 December 2026. The complimentary accommodation consists of one Suite for a maximum of two adults on the night of the wedding, subject to availability. Offer applies to wedding receptions with a minimum of 50 adult guests using Ayana Suite's in-house catering. The offer does not apply to venue-hire-only bookings or bookings using external catering. There is no cash alternative and the offer cannot be used in conjunction with another promotion or discount. Additional bedrooms, food, drinks and other services are charged separately. Terms and conditions
Applies to new Ayana Suite wedding reception bookings taking place on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 2 January and 31 December 2027. Booking is subject to date availability. A minimum of 50 adult guests using Ayana Suite's in-house catering is required. Complimentary welcome drinks are provided for a maximum of 50 guests. The selection of welcome drink will be agreed with Ayana Suite. Additional drinks are charged at the normal rate. The offer does not apply to venue-hire-only bookings or events using external catering. There is no cash alternative. No. Ayana Suite is not currently licensed for civil ceremonies. Couples are welcome to hold their legal ceremony elsewhere and then celebrate their wedding reception with us at Ayana Suite.
No. Ayana Suite is not currently licensed to hold wedding ceremonies, including outdoor civil ceremonies. The venue is available for wedding receptions and celebrations following your ceremony elsewhere.
Ayana Suite has its own licensed bar and drinks can be tailored to your celebration. If you would like to supply your own wine, please discuss this with us in advance. Any arrangement would be subject to prior agreement and may be subject to corkage.
Yes. Ayana Suite offers in-house catering, but outside catering can also be considered by prior agreement. This makes the venue particularly flexible for couples requiring specialist, cultural or traditional menus. Please discuss your catering plans with us before booking.
Setup and decorating access is agreed individually for each wedding, depending on the event schedule and other bookings. We will confirm your access time with you in advance so that your suppliers have sufficient time to prepare Ayana Suite.
Loud music and entertainment must finish by 11:30pm, with Ayana Suite vacated by midnight. We will work with you when planning the running order so that dining, speeches and entertainment fit comfortably within the evening.
Live bands, DJs and other entertainment are welcome at Ayana Suite. Amplified and loud music must finish by 11:30pm and all entertainment must comply with the venue's house requirements.
No. Fireworks are not permitted at Ayana Suite.
Confetti is not normally permitted at Ayana Suite. However, it may be considered in certain circumstances with prior permission from the venue. Please discuss this with us before making any arrangements.

The Snooty Mehmaan has 11 boutique hotel bedrooms on site, comprising nine Executive Rooms and two Suites, allowing the couple, family members and selected guests to stay at the venue after the celebration. Bedrooms are subject to availability and booked separately unless included within a wedding package.
Yes. In addition to our 11 on-site bedrooms, further accommodation is available in and around Faringdon and the surrounding area. We can provide local suggestions where additional rooms are required for wedding guests.
