About Oakham Castle
A fabulous historic venue Licensed for Civil Ceremonies. It is the perfect place, a beautiful setting with a wealth of history. Formal yet informal, old yet updated. From intimate wedding breakfasts, to fabulous receptions, your wedding at Oakham Castle will be the most magical and memorable day. We are conveniently situated in Oakham town centre, yet sit in our own peaceful grounds. We can host up to 80 guests for ceremonies have onsite parking and offer a generous 2 hour venue hire.
We are approximately half an hour from Peterborough, Leicester, Stamford, Market Harborough, Grantham and Kettering. We are also accessible for disabled guests, wheelchair users and buggies and being in the centre of a Market town there are an excellent choice of hotels, restaurants and pubs , perfect for accommodation.
