About The Oaks Barn
If you are looking for a true rustic barn you are definitely at the right venue. Our Wedding barn is full of charm and plenty of character, giving our couples a completely unique wedding experience. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, which enables us to give you the day of your dreams. We don’t believe in over filling the venue and hold 1 wedding per week.
Holding fewer weddings a year at our family run wedding business ensures every couple has a relaxed and laid back wedding day. From visiting The Oaks the day before your big day, dropping off your wedding dress at our bridal boutique room and completing all venue dressing, to collecting possessions, gifts and vehicles up to 11am the day after your wedding. We love a chilled and calm atmosphere here within our exclusive barn.

Serving up to 100 guests and beautifully displayed on a rustic cart, this picture perfect sweetie platter is a tasty way to add wow factor to your wedding reception while allowing us take the prep and planning stress away.

We work on the basis of: Venue Hire + Menu + Optional Extras. Venue hire starts from £4600
Yes absolutely, The Oaks Wedding Barn does not hold multiple events at one time and is all yours
Yes we are licensed for civil ceremonies to take place within 5 ceremony areas
Our beautiful Enchanted Woodland and The Meadows are ideal for outdoor ceremonies. The Pergola is outdoors but covered, ideal for outdoors weddings on overcast days.
Venue hire starts from £4600 and food is priced per person. We also hold Twilight Weddings, ideal for smaller intimate wedding ceremonies.
All beverages must be purchased from The Oaks. The Oaks Tipple Trough is by far our most popular drinks package
We have multi award winning in-house caterers.
You are welcome to set up a time slot the day before your wedding to come and venue dress and drop off your dress in our bridal boutique room if you've hired it for your magical day.
Your reception must finish between 12 midnight to 12.30 depending on the day of the week.
We allow live bands and ask to keep the noise level to am acceptable decibel to respect our neighbouring farms and live stock.
Unfortunately, fireworks are not permitted as it is a planning restriction.
We allow biodegradable confetti only.
We are happy for candles to be lit in the barn and ceremony log barn but must be enclosed within sturdy lanterns or glass vessels. We also ask that candles are not used around the outside of the either barn as this creates a fire risk.
We have a beautiful Bridal Boutique prep room.
We do not have accommodation at The Oaks but supply couples with an accommodation info sheet. Many options are situated on the same road as our barn.
We have teamed up with The Hilton Garden Inn, situated 17 mins away from The Oaks to house large bookings.

Our show stopping seasonal foliage packages are a fantastic way to add rural embellishment to your wedding day décor 🌿 Our unique and sustainable foliage is handpicked from within The Oaks 24 acres of land, the day before and the morning of your wedding. The team lovingly construct each foliage option, which look show stopping whether it’s just one or a mixture of our purposefully traipsing and sprawling choices. No seasonal installation is ever the same, ensuring every wedding is unique and original. Another time saving option that beautifully compliments our barns aesthetic are the new large rustic discs, sourced from within The Oaks and milled here on site. Use them as table centre pieces, place décor upon them and take the stress out of buying and storing huge pieces of wood!
