Kentwell Hall offers a romantic background to compliment your special day.

Kentwell Hall is one of England's finest Tudor houses and is located in the historic village of Long Melford, Suffolk and is fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies; in the main house for more formal ceremonies and in the Merchants Hall that offers a more 'rustic romantic' theme.

In the main house, The Great Hall can seat up to 120 guests, followed by drinks reception in the State Rooms, or on the Cedar Lawns, with dining in the ‘Overcroft’ that can seat up to 160 guests and has a bar and small stage.

The Merchants Hall in the Barnsword can seat up to 80 for a Civil Ceremony and the Great Barn can seat up to 140 guests for a wedding breakfast. Beneath the Merchants Hall is an open bar, terrace and is perfect for 'live bands', whilst the surrounding grounds can be decorated in a 'rustic' theme to suit your individual style. *Camping is allowed in the adjacent field.

The catering at Kentwell Hall is home made, seasonal and includes ingredients and meats from our own farms. We can devise imaginative menus to suit your style. We cater for specialist dietary requirements including cultural and vegans.

At Kentwell we are totally flexible in what we offer and will work with you as we understand that every couple are individual.
