About Ridge Farm
Ridge Farm has a history rooted in music, having previously operated as an international recording studio. Today, gold discs and other memorabilia from this era are displayed throughout the 16th-century farmhouse. The property is set within 14 acres of grounds that feature an apple orchard and ponds, offering a private setting for exclusive use weddings, from ceremony to wedding breakfasts and reception, at this unique wedding venue in Dorking, Surrey.
Our wedding clients hire Ridge Farm for the weekend, unlike a hotel, the place is all yours. You probably have a pretty good idea of how you want your weekend to be, & we'll do everything we can to make it happen.
If you'd prefer your reception not to be under canvas, our poolhouse conservatory will seat 150 for your meal, a great place for dancing in the evening. Also provided is a state of the art sound system for your DJ or band to utilise, with inputs for laptops & iPods. Bands may play till 11pm and DJ till 1am. We'll remove the dance floor after the reception so you can swim next morning.
The Farmhouse sleeps up to 25 people in 12 bedrooms, there is a separate Bridal Cottage, which is all included in our package. We also provide a camping area with electricity & water so you may invite extra guests to camp. The camping field is situated very close to the Poolhouse so campers have use of the pool's changing room, shower & toilet facilities. Your weekend will also include exclusive use of the tennis court and Poolhouse inc heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi & sauna.
Ridge Farm is a self catering venue: this gives clients the freedom to choose their own caterers & enables them to have control of banqueting style and budget. If you need advice in this area we are happy to help with recommendations etc. You'll need to supply your own alcohol, but we provide bar staff for the evening celebrations (we don't charge corkage).
For winter weddings between October to April, please contact Eleanor for more information. Winter weddings are for a maximum of 50 guests
