About The Talbot Inn
At The Talbot we believe that planning a wedding shouldn’t be a stressful time at all. Let our experienced wedding coordinator help and guide you through each and every step. We understand that every single wedding is different and from the initial enquiry to your final detail meeting, we will listen to your requirements and make them become a reality.
The venue holds a civil ceremony licence and provides a dedicated wedding coordinator to assist with planning. Ceremonies can be held in one of two licensed spaces. The Wisley Suite features panelled walls, high ceilings, a brick fireplace, and crystal chandeliers, with space for up to 100 guests. Alternatively, The Surrey Barn offers open beams and rustic stone walls, holding up to 80 guests and providing direct access to a courtyard. For a wedding breakfast, the Wisley Suite can seat up to 80 people.
For evening receptions, The Wisley Suite and Surrey Barn can be combined to hold up to 150 guests, who have exclusive use of the spaces, a private bar, and the courtyard. In-house chefs prepare the wedding breakfast, and couples are invited for a menu tasting. The team can cater for specific dietary requirements. Outside, landscaped gardens and a terrace are available for photographs and drinks receptions.
The Talbot Inn also has 43 bedrooms for guests who wish to stay overnight, including deluxe and four-poster rooms. The venue is pet-friendly and provides on-site parking with electric car charging points. Due to council limitations, live music is not permitted, and a sound limiter is installed in The Wisley Suite.
