Blakelands is an exclusive-use venue set within a stunning Eighteenth Century Manor House and its surrounding barns, all situated on six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and grounds, featuring a stocked fishing lake and other unique elements.

With over 30 years of experience as a wedding venue, Blakelands has been thoughtfully renovated to meet the needs of couples on their special day. From our Preparation Loft, perfect for getting ready, to 14 on-site bedrooms, the entire venue is available for couples to enjoy throughout their wedding day. We offer five ceremony options for up to 100 guests, including the picturesque Lakeside Ceremony, the charming Walled Garden, and the lovely Croquet Lawns for outdoor events, as well as The Maltings Barn and The Blakelands Main Hall for indoor ceremonies.

Blakelands can be booked as a venue-only option, allowing couples the freedom to choose their own caterers, or they can opt for our in-house catering service. Our dedicated team, including chefs, mixologists, and wedding planners, is committed to personalizing menus down to the finest details. In addition to catering in our Maltings Barn, we also provide several outdoor serving stations for a more relaxed dining experience, accommodating up to 180 guests.

At Blakelands, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive in-house catering and bar services. All of our staff are directly employed by us, allowing us to offer complete flexibility to our couples. Our dedicated team includes an Executive Chef, a Banqueting Manager, and an Assistant General Manager, all of whom oversee our bars, mixology, and drink services.

This year, we’ve introduced an option for couples to bring in their own preferred caterers. On the day of the event, our management team will still be on hand to ensure that the caterers have everything they need and that the service runs smoothly.
