Outside, the landscaped gardens transform with the seasons, offering a different atmosphere throughout the year. The South Terrace is a favourite spot for newlyweds, with sweeping views across the estate—perfect for champagne moments, sunset photographs, and time together with your guests.

In 2024, we unveiled our spectacular Picture Gallery as a wedding space. This decadent room brings a sense of drama and luxury to your celebration, and all bookings include exclusive use of the entire house, so you can relax and celebrate knowing Temple Newsam is yours for the day.

We offer flexible ceremony and wedding breakfast packages and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, personal service from your first enquiry to the moment you leave as newlyweds. We work closely with a carefully chosen group of trusted caterers who know Temple Newsam intimately, creating seasonal menus paired with a thoughtfully curated selection of drinks to complement your celebration.

Our Spaces:

The Great Hall
- Designed in the 1500s, the Great Hall was used for celebrations and feasting!
- Up to 100 guests and direct access to the South Terrace, overlooking the gardens.

The Dining Room
- Oak panelled walls, feature fireplace, and stunning silver wine cooler.
- Up to 40 guests for a ceremony, or 30 for dining.

The Picture Gallery
- Brand new for 2024; it is one of the finest examples of Rococo styling, similar to the look of the interiors seen in Bridgerton.
- Up to 150 guests
