Here at Alcott Weddings we are on hand to help you create the wedding you have always dreamed of. With our vast land offering we can accommodate marquees, yurts and tipis and our extensive list of local and national suppliers can help you piece together the most momentous wedding reception ever. We are located in the heart of the midlands on the boarders of Worcestershire and Warwickshire countryside near the village of Alvechurch. Easily accessed from all major road networks.

Located equidistant from Worcester, Birmingham and Stratford yet hidden in the idyllic rolling hills of the North Worcestershire countryside, situated just outside the beautiful village of Alvechurch we have the pleasure of offering that bespoke, personalised experience for your wedding or event.

We offer picture-perfect views, coupled with the practicalities, that makes every dream day run smoothly- come rain or shine. Ceremony's are ran by a Wedding Celebrant and can be outside or inside the structures.

Working alongside our on-site production company, we can support your ideas from concept to completion and help deliver any of your values or messages along the way. You will receive our full support along the way and get a dedicated Co-Ordinator and Technical Event manager. Its completely exclusive. Your chosen structure is put up 2 days before the wedding and the day before you have the whole day to dress it. This is a lovely day for friends and family to get together to help you make it your own. You have the land until midday the following day to collect all personal items.

We are not licensed for civil ceremony’s as they must be under a permanent structure and not a temporary one such as marquees and tipis. However, the signature can be done with the registrar’s office and it’s approx. £45 for signature only and then the ceremony can be held at Alcott with a wedding celebrant. There is talk from the government currently that this may change like most of the other countries in the world! :-) They are now wanting outdoor weddings more so than ever!

We allow 3 welcome drinks of the same kind corkage free on arrival. Our bar are happy to keep these chilled, use their glass ware and serve them. After these drinks then all drinks are to be bought from their bar. Some couples chose to have prosecco for example and have 2 for the welcome drinks and save 1 for the toasts. The inside rustic bar have all taps so you can choose preferred beers and ales. The bar company also have a horse trailer that they have converted to an outside bar which you be used as a Prosecco / Cocktail / Gin/Rum bar so you could have this as well as the inside bar as a feature bar.

We use our own preferred trusted caterers. Catering options range from a relaxed style of buffets, hog roasts, BBQ’s, fish & chips, street food vans, right through to 3 or 5 courses sit down meals and Asian Catering.

You have from 8am - 8pm the day before your wedding to decorate. Bring your packed lunch and make a day of it! Its such a special time decorating with all your friends and family and seeing it all come together with your treasured collected bits.

Midnight. Its a long day but fly's by, so I always say try and start as early as possible!

We have entertainment rules just so the band don't sound like they are at a rave :-) Live music is to to finish by 11pm and DJ and other amplified music to finish at midnight. There are no fitted limiters but our Events Manager keeps a listen if its too loud but this is very rare.

Unfortunately not due to the close proximity of horses but we have other ideas.

Yes, there is a fence and children can not climb through the gaps. You still get to enjoy the lake view (a picture in the gallery below), the gate can also be closed.

The field is reasonably flat so hard flooring is not a necessity, but if you want the perfect finish then wooden flooring throughout is optional on some of the structures (a picture in the gallery below). Capris and Yurts come with a protective layer followed by the matting carpets and dance floors are solid. The Clear span marquees and Canvas marquee have the choice of a protective layer or wooden floor throughout, depending on preference.

Yes, security will guide the car there safely.

No, cars are parked in a hard-standing car park.

Yes, be reassured that all of our companies use the latest weather fore-casting technologies to ensure that your set-up is perfect for the conditions on the day. In adverse weather conditions, contingencies are put into place and discussed to offer you piece of mind that you remain dry and comfortable in any scenario.

Pets often form a major part of weddings at Alcott. We often have beloved dogs roaming around and even brides ride their own horse in. This is fine, as long as dogs are kept on leads and we can discuss how to fit them into your day.

The majority of our structures have the capability to have the sides lifted to provide extra air to guests on a hot day. The sides can be lifted on our tipis on a warm, dry day or a weather proofing kit allows views of the rolling hills whilst keeping guests protected from those summer showers. The rest of our structures sides can be lifted/ rolled or clipped back. Bear in mind, the Yurt’s sides can only be lifted on a day with no wind.

The company we recommend are very posh indeed, quite a talking point at the wedding, definitely not like Glastonbury loos! They play music and light up. The correct size will be recommended to you for your numbers. As they have steps, a separate disabled porter unit can be hired- this provides a comfortable baby-change unit, when requested. There is cold running water that is safe to drink, and great for caterers.

The events managers can source a heater for you, when the temperature drops late on; alternatively, they can switch them to blast out cold air on a hot summer’s day. The tipis have a fire pit as an option and offer a beautiful, cosy glow, making the immediate surrounding area warm but don’t overwhelm the whole tipi with heat.

Often, rain adds to the fun of an outdoor wedding and guests very rarely notice. A few years ago, we installed a land drainage system that allows water to drain off and keeps the field firm and not boggy(a picture in the gallery below). A road runs from the car park into the wedding field, ensuring those stilettos remain in tip-top condition (a picture in the gallery below). All structures have walkway matting to provide added protection (a picture in the gallery below).

A wedding co-ordinator to work alongside you to support you every step of the way. You will get support from sourcing suppliers to scheduling how your perfect day will run. We have our on-site event managers who provide the logistical assurances that are needed for an outdoor venue; they support the hiring and running of generators, electrics, lighting and sound. An added bonus is they remain on-all day and are first aid trained-just in case! We also have our own security staff to meet, greet and help to park the cars for your guests and will always offer a welcoming smile. Additionally, we also team up the next day, when heads are sore, to help you with the clean-up operation and smile about all of the fun from the day before.
