About Plas Maenan
Plas Maenan Country House sits in the Conwy Valley near Llanrwst, with views across the surrounding landscape and exclusive use offered as standard. Only one wedding takes place each day, giving couples full access to the house, grounds and ceremony spaces.
Civil ceremonies can be held indoors in The Calon Suite or outdoors overlooking the valley. After the ceremony, drinks and canapés are served before guests move into The Ballroom for the wedding breakfast. The package includes a three-course meal, half a bottle of house wine per person during dinner and a glass of fizz for speeches, followed by tea and coffee. Chiavari chairs, white linen tablecloths and napkins, crockery, cutlery and glassware are provided, along with a cake stand and knife. Evening celebrations continue with a choice of bites or finger buffet and a resident DJ.
The venue welcomes up to 80 day guests and 120 evening guests. Nine bedrooms are available on site, sleeping up to 26 guests, including a Honeymoon Suite with breakfast. A Two Day Package is available on selected dates, offering exclusive use from 3pm the day before, access to all function rooms for set-up, a ceremony rehearsal if required, an arrival drink, lawn games, and either a buffet, sharing boards or a two-course meal prepared by the chefs. Breakfast is included for overnight guests the following morning.

Yes! We are licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies! Our outdoor ceremony area, overlooking the gorgeous Conwy Valley and Snowdonia National Park is the perfect spot for an outdoor 'I Do'!
We have an amazing in-house catering team providing top quality food for the day of your wedding. Due to this, we do not allow external caterers for your wedding breakfast however we do allow you to have food trucks on the premises on the evening of your special day.
You have access to The Getting Ready Room from 8am and access to decorate rooms from 9am on the day of your wedding!
Yes, we have a beautiful honeymoon suite and getting ready room at our venue. And even better... these are both included in your wedding package!
Yes we have 8 rooms onsite and can sleep up to 26 of your guests.
