About the climate:

Jan, Feb, March, April: A wonderful time to visit the Bahamas is just before the hot summer months, which means that you avoid the crazy rain and risk of hurricanes. In January, February, March or April, you will get amazing sunny weather, beautiful white-sand beaches, and an average temperature of 23 degrees - ideal for couples who a romantic honeymoon spent relaxing on a sandy beach. November, December: To avoid the rain and hurricane season, the perfect time to take a trip to the Bahamas is when the weather begins to cool down slightly. In November or December, the temperature is at an average of 27 degrees, and is very sunny. For couples who want to take a dip in the sea, the ocean reaches up to 26 degrees in these months.

About the activities:

Adventures aplenty await honeymooners in The Bahamas. Take a powerboat trip to The Exumas, pull in at small Allan’s Cay, and be greeted by the scaly dragon-like iguanas scurrying along the sand.    The next stop is Big Major’s Cay for the Instagram-able swimming pigs of The Exumas. Further along at Compass Cay slip into the shallow water with nurse sharks which calmly swim around your legs or even doze off while you tickle their chests. From Nassau Paradise Island take a short ferry ride to closes encounter with dolphins and sea lions or on Grand Bahama Island buckle up for a jeep safari or zip-wire flight.  Take your adventures topside, sail a catamaran across the almost unbelievably blue ocean, either skippered or bareboat. Kite surfers head for Guanahani Beach on San Salvador or try one of the country’s best kept secrets and surf the Atlantic ocean rollers breaking on the east coast of Eleuthera.
