Charlotte and Craig originally met on the dating app, Tinder, and 8 months later Craig popped the question. The couple exchanged vows on the 18th of August 2018 at the beautiful stately home wedding venue, Henley Hall in Ludlow. They chose a traditional theme for their summer wedding to go with their luxurious wedding venue. Creams, pinks and accents of gold was the colour theme and pearls featured a lot throughout the bouquets and outfits.
The Fashion
Charlotte chose a gorgeous lace, backless Ronald Joyce dress from TDR Bridal. The three bridesmaids wore dusty pink asymmetric dresses from House of Fraser. Lace detail featured on the bridesmaid dresses to complement Charlotte's wedding dress.
The groom and his groomsmen all wore dark blue Ted Baker suits bought from Moss Bros. A dusty pink tie and pocket square accompanied their suits.
The Food
The wedding food began with a selection of canapés, including chicken satay sticks, king prawns with a sweet chilli sauce dip and sun dried tomato and black olive bruschetta. A traditional sit down meal followed, starting with a melon trio. The main consisted of a classic roast beef strip loin dinner. For dessert, their guests were offered either a cheeseboard or ice cream from the ice cream cart.
Charlotte's mum made the wedding favours, which were Ferrero Rochers within the table centrepieces. She also created a sweet tree for guests to take a cone and pick out some sweet treats. Their wedding cake was bought from M&S and Charlotte's mum then decorated it with dusty pink roses and foliage.
The Evening Reception
To make the most of the long summer evenings, the couple had Rebooted, a live band from Shropshire, play some classic songs in the outside area. The guests then danced the rest of the night away indoors to their DJ.
Charlotte's favourite moment from the day was walking down the aisle on her father's arm. She also loved the speeches. In fact her sister, the maid of honour, actually got up and performed a surprise rap about them!
After they'd danced the night away, Charlotte and Craig hopped on a business class flight to Bali for their dream honeymoon.
