Emma and Chris' love story began through the modern ways of social media. On a Tinder date in August 2015, fate intervened, revealing mutual friends and sparking a journey that would lead them to the most special day of their lives. Fast forward over five wonderful years, and on a rainy yet magical day in Hythe, Chris proposed to Emma. This set the stage for a beautiful wedding on the 29th of October 2022 at Morden Hall, a stunning country house wedding venue in South London.
The Proposal
After five years of dating, Chris and Emma went on a romantic night away to Hythe. Chris had meticulously planned to propose on a beach, but unpredictable English weather diverted his original plans. With torrential rain drenching the day, the beach proposal transformed into an intimate moment in a cozy restaurant. And to make this moment truly memorable, a lovely couple sat nearby sent over a bottle of champagne to toast to their love.
The Planning
The planning journey was an 18-month venture filled with careful selections of vendors and the loving details that made their day so special. Navigating through the uncertainties and adjustments thanks to Covid-19, Emma and Chris found creative ways to set up meetings and make choices that reflected their unique style.
The Venue
After a visit to Morden Hall, Emma and Chris were immediately captivated and knew this was their ideal wedding venue. They loved its exclusivity and the spacious layout to accommodate their loved ones. Emma was particularly drawn to the dressing room and could picture her and her bridesmaids all getting picture ready. The allure of the rooms and the breathtaking garden and courtyard sealed the deal for their venue choice. The choice of autumnal colours for flowers complemented the boho-classic theme, harmonising with a palette of white, pearl grey, and rose gold for signs and stationary.

Chris looked sharp in a suit from French Eye, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Mulberry cufflinks, all tied together with a ring from Goldsmiths. Accompanying Chris were his groomsman, dashingly besuited in classic tuxedos with braces from Impeccable Wear in Harrow.
