About Morden Hall Country House
Morden Hall sits within extensive parkland and historic gardens beside the River Wandle in South London. The house and grounds are yours for the full day, from morning until late evening, with a range of distinct interior and exterior settings used across a wedding day. You and your guests can start preparations in purpose-designed dressing rooms for the bridal party and groom before moving into one of several ceremony rooms, or choosing an outdoor ceremony on the North Lawn by the river.
After vows, the light-filled Mulberry Room leads directly to riverside lawns where guests can gather for drinks and informal celebrations. Throughout the house and courtyard there are a variety of backdrops for photography, and the event spaces flow into one another from ceremony to dining to evening reception.
The venue’s configuration allows celebrations to evolve across different areas of the house and grounds. At night’s end, nearby hotel accommodation is available, and the team notes plans for on-site accommodation in future. Food and drink are arranged through recommended caterers working with the venue, and there is flexibility for couples to bring in external suppliers that meet insurance and safety requirements.
