Adam popped the question to Laura whilst on a romantic city break in New York. Adam hadn’t picked a particular spot in the big apple to propose so spent most of the trip carrying the ring around in his rucksack waiting for the perfect moment. That moment came on a quiet morning in Central Park whilst Laura was taking photos of the statue. Adam called out her name and when she turned around he was down on one knee with the ring - super romantic!
The couple then tied the knot in August 2017 with a beautiful vintage woodland wedding at Wyre Forest. There was no set colour scheme but with it being summer there were lots of gorgeous green and pastel shades. The wedding party included Laura’s sister and maid of honour, Becky, 3 bridesmaids, and 3 flower girls. Adam had his brother as best man and 4 other groomsmen and a page boy.
The couple wanted an informal, relaxed reception with lots of personal touches! They had a DIY photobooth made by Laura’s dad, lots of fairy lights and beautifully decorated jars with fresh flowers. Our favourite bit was the couple's cocktail hour following the ceremony where guests helped themselves to sangria, mojitos, Krispy Kreme donuts and amazing Prosecco and strawberry ice cream - what a brilliant idea!
After a beautiful wedding, Laura and Adam travelled around Italy for 3 weeks for their honeymoon. Congratulations to the happy couple!
