Darcey and Jamie held their romantic ceremony and wedding reception in Cambridgeshire. After postponing their original date due to Covid and pregnancy, their big day went ahead on January 29th 2022 with just under 100 guests. They opted for a minimalist aesthetic, with a charming ivory and sage green colour scheme.
Darcey wowed guests in her Florence dress by Eva Lendel, which she found at one of our amazing bridal suppliers, Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutique.

Location
"We chose to get married at our local church as my parents live just opposite and it holds a big place in our heart. My auntie read ‘Ruth’ and ‘Corinthians’ from the Bible which was really special. We chose South Farm for our reception as it has a relaxed feel to it which we loved and also has the most gorgeous grounds and simple but elegant rooms which didn’t need lots of decorating as it was simply gorgeous - which suited our theme of a minimalist wedding."
Food
"Along with its romantic setting, South Farm’s food is the best we’ve ever tasted and all their food is home grown and sourced from their small holding, which is really important for us to know all the food is organic and homegrown. We also loved the unique Roman wagons and animals."
"On entrance to the reception, we had canapés alongside welcoming drinks. We served fresh bread with oil for the starter, blade of beef with seasonal veg and fondant potato served with a red wine sauce, we then had burnt Cambridge cream with a shortbread biscuit.
Entertainment
"We had the lovely Cara Beard Music playing for our welcome drinks and throughout the meal and she was amazing. Our other entertainment was a DJ (Strobe Disco Roadshow) and a photo-booth which was so much fun."
Wedding Outfits
Darcey chose the gorgeous Florence dress by Eva Lendel to wear on her big day. She found the gown at with the help of the team at Ellie Sanderson. We adore the lace detail, the low v neckline and the flattering flowing skirt. Her wedding dress was beautifully complimented by her bridesmaids' sage green dresses from Maya Deluxe with a glittering bodice and flattering v neckline.

The groom and groomsmen wore suave navy suits with a sage green ties and pocket squares. Jamie's suit was from Moss Bros, while the groomsmen wore Ted Baker.
