About CakeAways

Award winning luxury bespoke wedding cakes in Oxfordshire. Also offering beautiful wedding cupcakes & other Sweet Treats including personalised Wedding favours in any theme you would like. Specialists in wedding cakes across Oxfordshire.

All of my cakes and bakes are freshly handmade using locally sourced ingredients where possible, because whilst it is important that your cake is a visually stunning centrepiece for your day, it is equally important that the quality and flavour of your cake is exceptional and creates a memory for yourselves and your guests for years to come
I specialise in handmade realistic sugar and wafer paper flowers, and hand painted sugar work, as well as a variety of other hand made edible decorations for your cake, and I love to be able to create unique and personal cakes for my couples.
Due to family allergies I also understand the importance of providing gluten free, dairy free and other 'free from' options - so that nobody has to miss out and everyone can 'eat cake'.

FAQs

Yes, I offer taster boxes for collection or delivery, and online or in person consultations.

If you know your date and you would like to book with me, then I would recommend boking your date early as I do take bookings up to 3 years in advance of the date

Yes, I do cater for gluten free guests. Both my husband and one of my sons are gluten intolerant, so I am used to baking gluten free cakes. I am as careful as possible when catering for allergies and intolerances, including opening fresh packets of ingredients, but my kitchen is not gluten free so I cannot guarantee there will not be cross contamination.

Yes, I do cater for vegan guests, my Ginger and Lemon cake and my Biscoff cake are exceptionally popular with both vegan and non vegan guests alike.

I can cater for guests with nut allergies, however my kitchen is not nut free, so it depends on the severity of the allergy and whether the guest is happy to eat cake that comes from a kitchen that uses nuts.

I have a full flavour list on my website

Yes, I recommend having a different flavour for each tier to give your guests choices.

No, I do not decorate cakes that I have not made myself.

Our Sustainability Commitments

Along with using local and seasonal produce where possible, I use plant based compostable cellulose wrap, bags, and tape for my cakes and bakes, to avoid using single use plastic. I also use glass jars for my treats and favours like my cake jars.
