Welcome to True to You Celebrancy. My name is Deborah and I am a celebrant registered with the The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants (FPC). I am able to conduct Wedding ceremonies (please note that the legal registering of a wedding will still need to be arranged by the couple joining together), Civil Partnership Blessings, Baby Naming Ceremonies, funerals or any other kind of ceremony to mark those important transitions in life. Why use a celebrant? In answer to this many families, couples and individuals do not identify as having any defined religious belief or alignment. What many people do have, are core symbolic beliefs, cultural practices and traditions and personal preferences. As we journey through life there are key moments that are held as significant and which invite a formal 'marking' or acknowledging. Some welcome new life, some the joining of individuals and families, some reconfirming commitments or milestones, or sometimes saying goodbye to loved ones. These occasions are traditionally marked with a formal celebration or officiated gathering. A celebrant is able to help you design and lead the celebration as you want it to be, using the symbols and traditions that are both personal and important to you. It is an honour and a privilege to work with individuals, couples and families and to hear your unique stories, hopes and requirements. In doing so I am able to bespoke a ceremony that is 'True To You'.
