As an actor, writer, and self-confessed classics nerd, I believe everyone deserves to be the hero of their own story. Which is why I am passionate about delivering bespoke ceremonies that capture the essence of the individuals they celebrate. From studying Classical mythology and literature at Cambridge, to training as an actor and working as a writer, I bring a plethora of storytelling experience to bear on each ceremony I create and deliver.

If you choose me as your celebrant, firstly - hooray! Secondly, here’s a sneak peek of what to expect.

We’ll have a first meeting, where we’ll explore what kind of ceremony you’re after. This is also a fact-finding mission for me to gather information about you and your story.

After that, we'll meet as many times as we need, depending on timelines and the ceremony itself. During these sessions I can help by suggesting readings and brainstorming creative ideas for symbolic elements or additions to make your ceremony really sing. And the good news - there are no wrong answers!

After all this fun and games, it’s time for me to retreat into my writing den, where I'll beaver away until I produce a first draft. This will then wing its way over to you. You’ll review it, let me know your thoughts, and I’ll make whatever tweaks or changes we need. And we’ll do this merry dance for as many iterations as it takes to craft the perfect experience, that will hopefully become the stuff of legend.

In the meantime, I'll be in touch with your other suppliers so we can work together to create a seamless experience on the big day.

Finally, it's showtime. Your wedding day is here, but have no fear - I’ll be on hand to support you and deliver the ceremony of your dreams. With my performing background I can improvise with the best of them if anything goes wrong (which fingers crossed it doesn't!), so you never have to worry. Your ceremony is in safe hands.

My fee is £800, which includes all of the above and travel costs. It can be paid in two 50% instalments, or one big batch. The only extras might include accessories for any symbolic elements or additional speech-writing services, but I’ll always be up front about these as I don't want to leave anyone in the lurch!
