Congratulations! You're engaged! Now what? With so much advice out there, it's difficult to know where to start when planning your wedding. That's where Wed-Start comes in. Following a virtual consultation with one of our expert wedding planners where we discuss all you want for your big day, we'll send you a budget breakdown and planning guide tailored entirely to your wedding. Wed-start: A head start to your perfect wedding.
Wed-Start is owned by Isabel Smith, a wedding industry veteran with over 10 years’ experience planning weddings all over the world.
Recognising that there is a lot of planning advice out there (some excellent, and some utterly appalling!), she wanted to make true expertise accessible to everyone, only working with experienced wedding planners who really have seen it all!

Wed-Start is a virtual wedding planning service which gives you all the information you need to plan your own wedding. It literally gives you a head start by cutting through all the information that's out there, leaving you with what you need in order to plan your day.
Wed-Start is for anyone who wants to plan their own wedding (rather than hire a wedding planner), but who feels overwhelmed by the process and doesn't really know where to start.
Free advice can vary in quality and might not apply to you. By investing a little bit of your budget with us, you get truly EXPERT advice for YOUR wedding.
All of Wed-Start's planners have worked as freelance wedding planners offering end-to-end services for a minimum of 5 years. We've seen it all so we know what works and what doesn't.
It's simple. Use the calendar on our website to book your Wed-Start and you'll receive an e-mail confirmation and calendar invite for your Zoom consultation. Within 72 hours of your meeting, you'll receive your tailored budget breakdown and planning guide - everything you need to plan your day.
A lovely, informal chat! We'll guide you through the conversation so that we get a full understanding of everything you want (and don't want!) for your wedding.
If you can't find a slot that works for you on the calendar on our website, get in touch (details on the website) and we'll do everything we can to find a day and time that works for you.

It depends. We'll only book you in if we have a planner who has actually planned a wedding at your chosen destination so get in touch before booking and we'll let you know if we can help.
