About The Piping Experience
Matthew Mcrae is a professional bagpiper based in London covering Essex, Kent, Cambridge and the South. He has been playing the bagpipes since he was 10 years old and has performed at many prestigious venues and weddings over the country.
Matthew has appeared on a range of well known TV and Radio programmes, from ‘Made in Chelsea’ to ‘The Last Leg: Correspondents’, and ‘Absolute Radio’ to ‘BBC Radio 2’. He also features as a session musician on a remastered version of ‘You’re my Mate’, composed and sang by ‘Right Said Fred’. He is an accomplished skilled professional, highly versatile and flexible in his approach. He always works with his clients to ensure that every performance delivers the right impact for the right audience.
