If you’re looking for a really stunning outdoor venue to hold your hen party weekend then look no further than High Clear Barn, South Shropshire. Large flat 3 acre field, 5 acres of private woodland, luxury bell tent accommodation and fully catered options available and all with stunning views! The towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow are both within easy driving distance. Good motorway links to the venue. 2024 bookings are now open. Early booking advised as we do limited Hen Parties each year.
Holding your hen party at Field Bar Tents and Events exclusive hire venue, The Glamping Hen, won't disappoint you. We work with you to make sure you and your hens have an amazing weekend.
As we only do a limited amount of hen parties each year we have the time to work with you to creating a unique hen party just the way you want it!
We offer you the choice of field and basic bell tent hire. We pitch the bell tents, set up the beds and you do the rest. If that's not for you and you prefer a little less work and more luxury the our luxury hen package is right for you.
Both our packages come with pitched bells, Jay beds, fully zipped in ground sheets, coir matting, bunting and fairy lights. The luxury package also comes with all bedding, bedside tables, throws and floor cushions.
Graze boards and hampers can be add at the time of booking onto either package. A fully catered option is also available.

Our Sustainability Commitments
We are really conscious of the impact we have as a small business in 2023. Our hen party venue gives the chance to create a fantastic weekend for our hens with us all knowing that almost all of what we use is upcycled or recycled. Our bell tents and bedding are new at the start of the season and replaced each year. Old bell tents are sold on for someone else to enjoy. Bedding will be donated to local charities. If you book a full or part catered stay with us you will be eating eggs from our own hens, meat from our pigs and homemade bread and jams. All food is cooked on site so no extra miles there. We will continue to do what ever we can to make our impact as low as possible. We use wood from fallen trees in our woodland to make any signage that we use as well fireside seating.
