Located on the popular Southern Coast of the Nicoya Peninsula lies Florablanca Resort, a luxury resort perfect for honeymooners. This area is popular with celebrities, socialites and backpackers alike, where they enjoy excellent surf and near-deserted beaches where you can watch the sun set into the Pacific.Â
Accomodation
Accommodation is in luxurious villas with huge open air showers and bathtubs, open plan kitchen, dining, living and lounging areas, each with a hammock or two. You instantly feel at home here, so much so that it would be easy to spend all your time in the villa rather than enjoying the sun loungers and shady cabanas by the pool, or exploring the beach. Â

Spa
The Bambu Spa is suspended over waterfall pools, and shaded by the natural foliage surrounding the resort. Whether you decide to take a dip in their giant jacuzzi or book a spa treatment in one of the gorgeous treatment rooms, you won't be disappointed by this breathtaking space.

Dining
The Nectar Restaurant is the perfect place for guests and locals alike to dine, celebrate or relax after a day relaxing at the resort. A fusion of Latin, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, the menu uses delicious seasonal, locally sourced produce. Don't miss their extensive wine list, focusing on South American varietals.Â

Activities
This stunning beach front resort is regularly visited my monkeys and racoons as well as a number of resident iguanas, so be sure to check out the local wildlife. Plenty of surf shops offer lessons and board hire, and can advise on the best times to try each beach depending on experience level. Â The surf in this area is known to be consistently good, but areas of the beach have shallow rock so book a lesson to make the most of your time here if you are anything but a competent surfer.
