The Perfect Wedding Jewellery On A Budget

When looking for wedding jewellery, it's always possible to find what you're after if you look hard enough, as challenging as it may seem at first.

Here are some tips on making sure that your jewellery still looks gorgeous even when it won't break the bank.

Earrings, Pendants and Bracelets

Wedding Jewellery - Sparkle

Earrings, pendants and bracelets are an easy way to add sparkle to your wedding outfit. They're also a good way to personalise your look and make sure it complements the style of dress you choose. You can choose women's jewellery that matches the colour or pattern of your dress, or go for something more striking if that's what you want. Just be sure that whatever style of jewellery you choose will be comfortable enough for all-day wear without being too big or too heavy.

If you're not sure, it's best to try on a couple of different styles beforehand so that you can see which ones suit your look and feel comfortable.

Vintage Jewellery

Wedding Jewellery - Rings and Bracelet

Vintage jewellery is a great way to find something unique, but you need to be careful. Make sure that the piece is authentic and not a reproduction. You can buy vintage jewellery online or in antique shops, but make sure you know the value of the piece before buying it.

If you are not sure about the authenticity of a piece of vintage jewellery, take it to an appraiser or a jeweller. They can tell you if the item is authentic and how much it's worth.

When buying vintage jewellery, be sure to take a close look at the piece. Check for any signs of wear and tear or damage. You should also check to make sure that all of the stones are in place, as well as the settings on any precious metals like gold or platinum.

Alternative Metals

Alternative Metal used for natural Wedding Jewellery

Alternative metals are less expensive than gold and silver, so if you're on a budget and want to avoid the hefty price tag of those precious metals, alternative metals are your best bet.

Alternative metals include copper, brass and bronze (a combination of copper and tin). These metals come in various colours, which can be mixed with other natural materials such as wood or bone to create unique pieces inspired by nature.

You may even find yourself drawn to something made from materials like stainless steel - this is often used for wedding rings because it doesn't tarnish like other types of metal do over time.

One Statement Item

If you're on a budget but still want to make an impact at your wedding, one statement item is all you need. A statement piece can be something as simple as a pair of earrings or a necklace. It could even be a hairpiece or bracelet. The possibilities are endless!

What's important is that this item is the focal point of your outfit - not just because it's expensive or designer (although both these things are nice), but because it makes people stop and look at what else might be going on in your ensemble.

Something Old, Something Blue

Blue Wedding Jewellery - Semi precious gems - sapphire

This is a common saying in Western cultures, and it's an absolutely perfect one for weddings. The idea behind this tradition is that the bride should wear something old to represent her family and something blue to represent the groom's family, and then combine them to symbolise the joining of two families.

The most obvious way of doing this is by wearing a piece from your own family (an heirloom necklace) and then adding some new jewellery that represents your partner-to-be's side of the family. This can be as simple as wearing a brooch or bracelet that was given to you by your fiancé, or it could even be something more elaborate like having his parents design a piece specifically for the wedding day.

Finding Jewellery Without Spending A Fortune

If you're on a budget, it can be difficult to find the perfect wedding jewellery that fits in with your style and taste. However, there are still ways to do so. Here are some tips:

  • Use online resources: There are many websites that sell second-hand and discounted jewellery. This is an excellent way to get something unique for less money than if you had bought new from a shop or website.
  • Look for sales or discounts: If you know what kind of jewellery you want but don't have enough money right now (or ever), keep an eye out for sales at local stores.

If you want to look for something different, try checking out online retailers selling pieces at lower prices or visit some of the vintage jewellery stores in your area. They often have beautiful pieces that can be refurbished and used as wedding jewellery.

Another option is using alternative metals like bronze or silver instead of gold or platinum if you're on a tight budget but still want something classy with an antique feel.
