The Woodlands at Hothorpe offers couples a truly unique and special wedding experience. This venue can accommodate 100 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, 150 guests for your evening reception and 46 guests to stay overnight. Their gorgeous wedding spaces can be transformed to suit your own personal style, so that you can have the wedding day of your dreams. In terms of food and drink, their experienced kitchen team and drinks mixologists are on hand to prepare some delicious canapés and cocktails as well as a sit down feast. Finally, when your special day comes to a close, you can retreat to the rustic woodland cabin accommodation for a well deserved slumber.

Based in the East Midlands, this venue is easily accessible for areas such as Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry. This stunning wedding venue, although nestled in the quintessential countryside, is only a 15 minute drive from major road links such as the M1, meaning you can spend less time worrying about travel plans and focus more about the magic of your big day.

There are two delightful ceremony spaces at this wedding venue, both so alluring it might be difficult to choose!

The outdoor ceremony space, The Hideaway, is hidden in the forest and features a rustic structure. In the springtime, the cherry tree beside the Hideaway will be in full bloom, with blossom adding a touch of spring colour. In the summer, the vibrant green shades of the forest trees add a truly enchanting atmosphere. By autumn and winter, this spot becomes cosy with warm tones. Their indoor venue will always be ready for use with no advance warning, meaning that you don't need to worry about the weather. Additionally, the Luxury Tipi and Outdoor Kitchen are available to complement this space.

The other wedding space at The Woodlands at Hothorpe is the Main Venue, which has a ceremony room, dining area, bar and terrace. This incredible indoor space is modern and sleek with a wood panelled exterior, whilst charming and rustic on the inside with high ceilings and striking wooden beams. In the spring and summer you can expect this room to be lit by the sunshine pouring through the treetop canopy. The layout of this space allows for a seamless transition from day to night without impacting guests. This means you can have your ceremony, reception and evening celebrations (on the spacious dance area) all under one roof.

The Treehouse Suite is reserved for the newly married couple, nestled away in the woodland treetops. The luxury Garden Cottage, open in June 2022, has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people. The other rooms are designed in a cosy log cabin style, all of which have contemporary decor with a charming and rustic touch.
