About The Woodlands at Hothorpe
The Woodlands at Hothorpe sits within the Hothorpe Estate near the market town of Market Harborough on the Leicestershire–Northamptonshire border. On booking couples have exclusive use of a collection of indoor and outdoor spaces set within mature woodland and rolling countryside.
Ceremonies can take place under the oak structure of The Hideaway in the woods or inside in The Heartwood, a space with abundant natural light. Adjacent to The Heartwood, The Tap Room serves as the main bar during celebrations, and outdoor areas such as the Courtyard Kitchen & Bar provide room for guests to gather and socialise.
Accommodation is part of the experience at The Woodlands. Lodge bedrooms sit around The Glade and each offers a double bed with an en-suite. Family Lodges feature a king-size bedroom with space for an additional child’s bed. Elevated above the trees, The Treehouse is a suite with panoramic woodland views and contemporary comforts for the couple’s first night.
Walking over the private oak bridge spanning a woodland stream connects different parts of the setting and creates opportunities for photography. The mix of flexible indoor spaces and sheltered outdoor areas lets couples plan a sequence of moments through their day, from the ceremony and drinks reception into the evening.
