About Paul Gapper Wedding Photographer
I’m Paul, a London wedding photographer with over 600 weddings photographed, focusing on natural, honest storytelling that reflects how the day actually feels rather than how it’s staged. I work in a calm, unobtrusive way, helping people feel comfortable so real moments can unfold without pressure, while making sure nothing important is missed.
How it started?
Photography is an enormously important part of my life and has been ever since I bought my first camera to travel to India many years ago. It's my passion to create intoxicating imagery, weave captivating stories, and to help create the visual legacy of all of my couples. I gained much of my expertise whilst working for The World Religious Photo Library, where I had to research my subject matter in great depth, which often led to forging significant personal contacts in diverse religious and secular communities. With over 15 years as a wedding, travel, and documentary photographer, you can expect someone who is an expert, knowledgeable, someone who cares, gets on well with people, integrates with your guests and gets on well with your nearest and dearest!
What are weddings?
It's all about good people, good music and throwing a wild party that everyone will remember for life! That's why I bring an informal style that lets you make the most of it all in the moment. The question I often get asked is, do you know the couple, are you a friend? That's because I'm basically like an extra guest, just with a couple of cameras and loads of back up equipment of course!
Services Offered?
I am looking forward to your big day. I cover weddings throughout the United Kingdom. I offer four-hour and full-day wedding packages. Package features include a pre-wedding consultation, an engagement session, editing and post-production services, an online gallery that you can share with family and friends, and a selection of fine wedding albums.

FAQs
There is no limit to the amount of photos I take. You receive all the fully edited images from the day excluding duplicates, unflattering images or failed shots. An average amount of photos in your final collection could be around 400 – 750, but can be more depending on what you have planned for the day. The RAW files are not available.
My prices start at £595 (4 hours) - £1500 (all day)
Roughly 100 mile radius from the M25 but I have traveled further please just ask.

I aim to work in a low-impact, thoughtful way wherever possible. I primarily deliver images digitally to reduce waste, and printed albums are produced on request using quality-focused suppliers. I also plan travel efficiently when covering weddings across the UK to help minimise unnecessary mileage.

We are a queer wedding photography business with more than 15 years of experience, creating relaxed, natural images for LGBTQ+ couples and all couples who want to enjoy their wedding rather than spend the day posing for the camera. As LGBTQ+ owners ourselves, and as someone in a long-term queer relationship, we understand how important it is to feel safe, respected and completely at ease when choosing wedding suppliers. We know many couples still take time to check whether a photographer is genuinely inclusive, and we want it to be clear from the very beginning — you are welcome here exactly as you are. Our approach is calm, unobtrusive and people-focused. We gently guide when needed, but we never stage moments or force situations. Our focus is on documenting your wedding naturally so you can stay present and enjoy your day. Before photography, we worked in hospitality, which shaped how we work today — making sure people feel welcomed, relaxed and properly looked after. We have worked with LGBTQ+ couples who have previously felt unsure about assumptions or whether they would be fully understood. Our approach is simple: no assumptions, no stereotypes, just honest, respectful photography focused on your connection and your wedding. Our own civil ceremony is something we carry into our work. It reminded us how meaningful it is to celebrate love openly, and that perspective naturally shapes every LGBTQ+ wedding we photograph. Our business is openly LGBTQ+ owned, and inclusivity is part of everything we do — from communication to the way we photograph weddings. We aim to create a relaxed space where every couple can feel comfortable being themselves without judgement or expectation. For us, LGBTQ+ weddings are not a niche. They are real weddings, real families and real love stories, and it is a privilege to be trusted to photograph them.
