Licensed for civil weddings, ceremonies can be held within the House, including the Dining Room and Great Hall (complete with Minstrels Gallery). By arrangement those wishing to marry in Church may wish to consider St Mary Magdalene, situated within the grounds and a short walk from the house whereby the bride and groom can lead their guests along the path and into the house via the Gothic Passage.

This magnificent house with a thousand years of history is one of the most sought after wedding venues in the county with nearly 20 years’ experience in delivering exclusive weddings. Set in 300 acres of privately-owned grounds, approached via the tree-lined driveway, Hampden House is offered to you exclusively for your wedding day.

A venue for all seasons, champagne and canapé receptions are held on the Terrace in fair weather or in the Great Hall during the winter months. The Dining Room seats guests for the wedding breakfast and the elegant Georgian Room sets the scene for your evening entertainment, conveniently located adjacent to the Lounge Bar.

For the ultimate mix of a lawn wedding with Hampden House as the backdrop, a marquee can be erected within the gardens which can accommodate weddings with up to 250 guests. Marquees are available from April to October.
