About Balmer Lawn Hotel & Spa
Set in the heart of the New Forest National Park, Balmer Lawn Hotel is a privately owned four-star country house hotel in Brockenhurst, owned by the Wilson family since 1997. Its setting offers direct access to the forest and extensive grounds for photographs, with the sea nearby.
Licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships, the hotel offers three ceremony spaces. The Beaulieu Room is licensed for up to 140 guests and sits within an exclusively private suite with its own entrance, bar and bathroom facilities. The Sylvan Pavilion is licensed for up to 140 and provides an outdoor option, with heating, lighting and a PA system included, alongside an indoor ceremony set-up if required. For smaller celebrations, the Club Room is licensed for between 2 and 20 guests.
Couples can choose from structured packages or create a bespoke celebration. All wedding packages include a dedicated Wedding Executive, a Banqueting Manager acting as Master of Ceremony, in-house styling, classic white linen with cutlery, crockery and glassware, Chiavari chairs with coloured organza bows, personalised place cards and table plan (or easel use), a silver cake stand and knife, a menu tasting for two (three-course menu), and a complimentary stay in the Luxury Honeymoon Suite. For larger celebrations, exclusive use of the hotel is available, including all 54 bedrooms, the restaurant, lounge area, leisure facilities, gardens and two banqueting suites.
