About The Hall Barns at Prestwold
The Hall Barns sits within the Prestwold Estate in Leicestershire, offering exclusive use of a restored 19th-century barn and its surrounding gardens and campsite for weddings. The historic barn has been carefully renovated to retain its rustic character while providing functional spaces for different parts of a wedding day. Couples and their guests can use the venue and outdoor areas for one, two or three days, with sole use of the site throughout their booked period.
Ceremonies at The Hall Barns can be arranged in a variety of informal indoor and outdoor spaces around the property. The Crew Yard is a covered area that serves as a ceremony space close to the barn, and the gardens offer additional outdoor options. There is exclusive access to the venue for the duration of the celebration.
The layout of the day is flexible: after vows couples and guests can move between the gardens, the barn interior and outside spaces for dining and socialising. Catering for receptions ranges from formal feasts to more casual dining such as hog roasts or summer barbecues prepared in the barn’s on-site kitchen or at the BBQ area. A fully stocked, staffed bar operates from within the barn.
Once the formal part of the day is over, drinks receptions can take place in the gardens and the Crew Yard can be used as a dance space. The venue’s campsite facilities are available for overnight stays, and the self-catering Laundry Cottage sits a short walk from the barn for those who prefer more domestic accommodation close by.
