About Trinity House
Offering stunning views of the Tower of London, Trinity House is a Georgian gem offering height, light, and space, and a professional management team to ensure your day is truly unforgettable. As the working home of the General Lighthouse Authority, the venue is a veritable treasure trove of maritime art and artefacts. The venue is available only on an exclusive-use basis to ensure total privacy. DIARY ALERT! FREE WEDDING SHOWCASE OPEN DAY - SAT 19 SEPT - 10am - 4PM
Entering through the grand reception hall off a cobbled paved forecourt , guests encounter a twin-curved staircase and rooms filled with maritime artefacts, portraits and numerous items of interest including the brass bell of the Royal Yacht Britannia. .
For a wedding day the Library and Court Room are the principal spaces licensed for civil ceremonies. The Library, with views towards the Tower, accommodates larger celebrations, while the Court Room suits more intimate ceremonies. A common format begins with a reception in the Court Room before moving to the Library for the wedding breakfast; adjoining rooms such as the Pepys Room can then serve as space for dancing or an after-dinner bar. Polished tables and gold-crested red leather chairs are included in the venue hire, as is use of a ceremonial sword to cut the cake.
Several of the rooms are interconnected, allowing a clear flow between ceremony, drinks and dining spaces. Guests are able to move from the first spaces on arrival through to areas for post-meal socialising without breaking up the occasion, and tall south-facing windows bring views of Trinity Square Gardens and the Tower into the heart of the celebrations.
