About Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens is a historic wedding venue surrounded by enchanting scenery in Richmond Upon Thames, South West London. From the verdant Royal Botanic Gardens to the iconic buildings, there's no shortage of breathtaking backdrops for your momentous occasion. This UNESCO World Heritage site uses income from celebrations for vital conservation and educational and research programmes that help save the planet.

Kew Gardens offers a beautiful range of Grade I and II listed venues, former royal residences and glasshouses where you can enjoy an unforgettable celebration. Set within 320 acres of renowned gardens, you'll be spoiled for choice on where to host your festivities.

Cambridge Cottage and the Nash Conservatory are licensed for civil ceremonies for your all-important 'I do' moment. The cottage is ideal for intimate get-togethers, with space for up to 80 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast and an additional 40 for your reception.

The Nash Conservatory is a mesmerising 19th-century glasshouse that can seat 200 guests for your ceremony. It can be hired separately, or as part of our Classic and Luxury wedding packages. These packages include a drink and canape reception held in our living, tropical glasshouse, the Princess of Wales Conservatory or the exclusive Sir Joseph Banks, as well as dining in one of our spectacular dining locations.

Your evening dinner and dance takes place either within our 18th century Orangery, featuring exquisite floor to ceiling windows, or within the exquisite setting that is the Temperate House, home to some of the world’s rarest and endangered plants.
