About Hackness Grange
Set within 17 acres of grounds near Scarborough, Hackness Grange centres weddings around a 19th-century manor house surrounded by countryside, a lake and its own private island ceremony space. The setting allows the day to unfold across both indoor and outdoor locations, with exclusive use ensuring the venue is reserved solely for one celebration.
Ceremonies can take place in two indoor suites or outdoors at The Pavilion on the Island, reached by a bridge across the lake. This outdoor space seats up to 80 guests with room for a further 40 standing, while indoor vows are held in The Elizabeth or Derwent Suites. The Elizabeth Suite also hosts the wedding breakfast for up to 120 guests, with large windows overlooking the grounds and space to transition naturally into the reception as the day progresses.
Celebrations continue into the evening with capacity for up to 170 guests. Wedding packages range from full-day celebrations to twilight and two-day options, all designed around exclusive venue use and coordinated support throughout the day. On-site accommodation includes 27 guest bedrooms alongside a honeymoon suite included within wedding packages. Guests can stay overnight and gather again the following morning for breakfast, keeping the celebration together beyond the wedding day itself.
The combination of indoor suites, a lakeside island ceremony setting and overnight accommodation allows weddings to move easily from ceremony through to evening celebrations in one location.

We have an amazing in-house catering team providing top quality food for the day of your wedding. Due to this, we do not allow external caterers for your wedding breakfast however we do allow you to have food trucks on the premises on the evening of your special day.
We have 26 guest rooms able to sleep up to 57 of your guests.
You have access to The Getting Ready Room from 8am and access to decorate rooms from 9am on the day of your wedding!
If you choose not to stay in our on-site accommodation, or if you need further accommodation, there are a number of local options.
