About Normanton Park Hotel
Normanton Park Hotel sits on the south shore of Rutland Water in Rutland, occupying an 18th-century courtyard building on grounds that extend to five acres of gardens and ancient trees with direct views across the lake. The hotel stands close to the historic Normanton Church and brings together indoor and outdoor spaces that work for a range of celebrations throughout the year, whatever the season.
Couples can plan civil ceremonies and receptions with flexibility in how and where the day unfolds. The Rutland Suite opens to a conservatory with wide water views, and both this space and the Heathcote Suite can be scaled for larger or more intimate groups, seating up to 120 guests. The gardens and waterside setting provide a backdrop for photographs, and there’s scope for outdoor marquees or bars if wanted on the day.
Onsite accommodation links into the flow of the wedding weekend. The hotel’s bedrooms include lake-view options and a first-floor bridal suite, giving couples and guests places to stay before and after the main event.
