Here, couples can plan each element of their day around the views across the water and the variety of indoor and outdoor spaces available for ceremonies and receptions.
Weddings at Rutland Hall can take place in the Lakeview Suite — a combination of rooms that allow for a ceremony in the Exton room, reception drinks on the Lakeview Terrace, and the wedding breakfast in the Oakham space — or in The Pavilion, a larger, contemporary room designed to handle bigger guest lists. Outdoor ceremonies can be held on the Terrace under an open pergola against the backdrop of Rutland Water; couples also have access to gardens and lawns for photographs.
The venue offers a range of wedding packages with exclusive use of the chosen ceremony and reception spaces, a complimentary night in a Junior Suite for the wedding couple, and a trial of the chosen menu in advance. Accommodation is available on site with a selection of rooms and suites, and weddings teams work with couples to tailor the day to their requirements.
Throughout the day, celebrations can transition from ceremony to wedding breakfast to evening reception with space for dining, entertainment, and more formal or informal layouts.

We offer exclusive use of our Lakeview Suite & Pavilion Suite however, exclusive use of the whole resort is not available.
We certainly are!
We are licenced for weddings both indoors and outdoors. With a backdrop of Rutland Water, there is no better spot to get married.
We do charge corkage for your own wine.
For Dry Hire Weddings we do have a list of preferred caterers, but if you were looking at having someone that isn't on our list we can certainly assist with this.
Access can be given from 6am on the day of the wedding.
The wedding reception will finish at midnight.
We have moved away from fireworks, due to being a dog friendly hotel and as we are surrounded by wildlife and livestock we don't want to upset our furry animal friends!
Only biodegradable confetti is allowed, we love our gorgeous surroundings and want to care for them as much as possible.
Candles are allowed but must be contained within a vase or lantern
