When it came to deciding what month I decided to get married in, it had to be Autumn. The gorgeous colours on the trees, the cosy wedding breakfast, the magnificent sunset… the list is never ending. So, when I organised this styled shoot, it just had to be Autumnal themed. Like any time of year, there’s so much to think about when planning a wedding, from the venue to the flowers, so here are a few ideas to inspire your dream autumn wedding day.
The perfect venue for the changeable weather
Choosing your venue for an autumn wedding can feel like a daunting task. What happens if it rains? Will it get too hot? We felt it was important to pick a venue that could handle all weather eventualities when planning this styled shoot. Caswell House provided the perfect setting. You can choose to get married inside their beautiful Wenmans Barn or, if the sun is shining, have your ceremony outside.
Getting married at Caswell House myself, I know how truly magical it really is. If you like the idea of your ceremony being inside, walking into the main barn completely takes your breath away, the twinkling lights draped under the stunning oak beams provides the most romantic setting as you walk the most memorable walk of your entire life.
The perfect wedding dress for an Autumn bride
One of the many reasons why Autumn is such a great time to get married is that it makes choosing your dream wedding dress a million times easier! There’s no need to worry about if you’re going to be too hot or too cold - the options are endless.
