This stately home wedding venue not only has lush gardens and a lake but it also has a marquee which is complete with its own licensed bar and dance floor.
The Venue
This charming venue is full of history and whilst its build date is unknown, records show that William the Conqueror granted it to his Master of the Horse after the Battle of Hastings! While there is currently no accommodation on site there is some not far away and you can access the bridal suite at the venue all day.
The Drawing Room
If you'd like a wedding inside the house the Drawing room is a wonderfully cosy space complete with a double fireplace and a lovely chandelier. This room comfortably seats 97 guests. We just love how the large arched windows light the room and give a gorgeous view onto the gardens! If you love all things vintage then this ceremony space is perfect for you!
The Lawn
The Lawn is the most popular ceremony space at Kingston Bagpuize House during the summer months. It's easy to see why, with a gorgeous view of the house and plenty of space for guests we can't think of a better setting to say 'I do'. The happy couple will say their vows in front of the door to the Drawing Room with the officiant being slightly raised by the steps so all the guests can hear the special moments being announced. If you have your ceremony here you can choose whether to have your reception in the house or the marquee.
The Pavillion
We think that the Pavillion on nestled within the beautiful foliage in the gardens at Kingston Bagpuize House is absolutely stunning. This secluded spot can hold up to 120 guests for a true al fresco wedding! This setting would suit different types of weddings from rustic to fairytale, the image above would certainly not look out of place in a storybook. The Marquee
The Marquee at Kingston Bagpuize House & Gardens is a wonderful place to celebrate your nuptials. With a bar, dance floor and enchanting views of the gardens and the house it is a truly magical place to have your reception. The marquee has lots of elements included such as tables and chairs so you don't have to worry about this. Plus it can seat 80-200 guests!
The Dining
The dining options at this venue are exquisite. All food is created by Elegant Cuisine, a catering company that is passionate about food. They have several different menus to try from seasonal 3 course meals, to sharing plates and even a carvery as well as canapés and casual evening options. They plate the food beautifully which is a detail that makes a difference on your wedding day!
