If you love ‘The Crown’ or ‘Bridgerton’ and have always dreamed of having a period drama-style wedding, then this styled shoot will provide you with all the inspiration you need.
Set in the historical and enchanting town of Rye in East Sussex, this shoot captures elegance, sophistication, and the essence of love. The venue, Saltcote Place, is a regal Grade II listed building that features a beautifully manicured garden, glamorous rooms and suites, and a Royal Cypher! Owners Paul and Alan truly believe in the magic of love and can’t wait to be a part of your special day.
Exclusivity
With only a handful of weddings here each year, this is a very exclusive and prestigious place to get married. You can book a private tour to view the venue and have the undivided attention of Paul and Alan as they proudly reveal the building’s grandeur and encourage your imagination as you create a bespoke celebration.
Royalty
As soon as you step through the door, you’ll realise that this property is fit for a Queen, quite literally. Saltcote Place was designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield and once completed in 1905, was given as a wedding gift to Captain AAR Hennessy and his young bride. Hennessy was a member of the famous Cognac-making family and would often welcome Queen Elizabeth to his home. How many people can say they got married in such surroundings!?
Photography
While the venue provides the perfect backdrop, the wedding styling has been beautifully curated and captured by Violette at Viola’s World Weddings. She carefully selected the wedding dress designer, tailors for the tuxedos, and the finest florists for the flowers. The finishing touches were provided by a 1960s Aston Martin, helping to create the allure and mystery of a double 0 agent.
