About Parklands Quendon Hall
Parklands is an idyllic setting for the perfect countryside wedding. Exclusive use of this beautiful listed mansion, in its own country estate, is guaranteed for the day. Situated close to Hertfordshire, this beautiful venue can cater for intimate to large wedding parties. With 100 acres of grounds, from relaxed and intimate, to awe-inspiring grandeur, the impressive elegance of Parklands has it all.
Civil ceremonies can be held inside the Tabor Room, which has neutral tones and overlooks the gardens, or outdoors in a licensed gazebo. For the wedding breakfast, the main house can hold between 30 and 120 guests, while the permanent Pavilion provides space for up to 650 people. Evening receptions in the house can hold up to 200 guests with a dance floor. The in-house team of chefs creates menus tailored to each event, with options for multi-course meals, hog roasts, or buffets. The kitchen also caters for a full range of dietary needs, and the team has experience in coordinating multicultural weddings.
For overnight stays, there are 22 guest bedrooms on the estate. This includes a separate Honeymoon Cottage for the couple and 21 rooms for family and friends. The property is part of the family-run Tabor Group and is located between Saffron Walden and Bishop's Stortford, with transport links from the A120 and Stansted Airport.
